Welcome!

I'm Emily. Nice to meet you!

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I always replied that I wanted to be a scientist and I accomplished my dream! :)

Who I am?

Challenge me: give me a problem and I will show you a solution.

I am a Biotechnologist who graduated with honors in master and just finished the doctorate in Brazil. During my academic experiences, I could apply my curious and organized side, work in three different laboratories around the world, and more importantly, create a nice network!

Until now, I have published 16 scientific articles, three first authorship, and I had executed national and international collaborations developing projects in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, and Epidemiology fields. Furthermore, I had gotten at least one award in each project I had developed.

I also had helped to create the extension project “Mural G-Biotec” in 2010 for sharing Biotechnology knowledge for the community and I was a student representative (2017) helping to develop courses and events in the Oncology Graduate Program (University of São Paulo, Brazil).
